SVA Student & Parent Guide: How to Use EdifyLearn.org

What is EdifyLearn?
EdifyLearn is SVA’s digital classroom.

All students from Pre-School to JHS 3 use it to access lessons, rxcercise, homework or assignment either in school, home or any where you find yourself.

STEP 1: HOW TO LOG IN

  1. Go to edifylearn.org on your phone, tablet, or computer.
  2. Click the Login button at the top right corner.
  3. Enter your Username. Example: svabtkofi .Your class teacher will give this to you.
  4. Click Sign In. Never share your password with other students.
  5. If you forget your username, tell the SVA  Head of I.T  to reset it for you.

STEP 2: YOUR DASHBOARD – The Home Page

After login, your Dashboard opens. This is your personal summary. As an SVA student, you will see:

Points Accumulated.

This is the total points earned from lessons completed that is lessons you have finished successfully.

Lessons Not Completed

Lessons your teacher assigned that are still pending.

Most Visited Chart

A chart showing subjects or pages you use the most. Tips:

Always check your Dashboard first so you know what work is left.

STEP 3: THE LESSONS MENU

  1. Click Lessons in the main menu.
  2. You will see all lessons your SVA teachers created for your class.
  3. Click any lesson to open it.  Inside, you can: Watch lesson videos, Read notes and slides , Take quizzes, Excersie, Assignment or Homework.
  4. Click Mark as Complete when you finish so your Dashboard updates.

STEP 4: THE CMS MENU

  1. Click CMS in the main menu.
  2. CMS means Content Management System. This shows extra learning resources made by Edify for all schools. You may find  reading books, and resources like science ,Literacy, Numeracy etc.
  3. Use these to revise or learn more after your class lessons

FOR PARENTS

  1. Log in with your child more frequently to check the Dashboard.
  2. Look at Lessons Not Completed and help your child plan time to finish them.
  3. Make sure assignments are submitted before the due date.
  4. For login problems, contact the SVA  Head of I.T or administration for help.
