🏫 Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable History Teacher for Upper Primary to join our team. The successful candidate will teach pupils in accordance with the Ghana Education Service (GES) and NaCCA curriculum, helping learners develop an understanding of historical events, cultural heritage, and critical thinking skills.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging History lessons based on the NaCCA curriculum
• Prepare lesson notes, schemes of learning, and teaching materials
• Use creative teaching methods to make History interesting and relatable
• Assess pupils through continuous assessment and class exercises
• Maintain accurate records of pupils’ performance and attendance
• Promote discipline and positive classroom behavior
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and co-curricular programs

✅ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Social Studies, History, or related field)
• Minimum of one (1) year teaching experience at the basic level
• Good knowledge of GES/NaCCA curriculum
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Passion for teaching and working with young learners

• Registered with the National Teaching Council (NTC)
• Possession of a valid teaching license
• Experience teaching at the Upper Primary level
